Crafted Tales

Crafted Tales is an exhibition about the history of beer in Sweden, designed by Yanina Casanova. Framed by hop vines, visitors encounter a group of beer-drinking men from another time, in a familiar scene that evokes shared memories of friendship and social rituals.

The exhibition design aims to create a sense of recognition and intimacy, allowing history to unfold through everyday experiences. The colour palette draws inspiration from vintage beer labels, whose graphic forms also shape the exhibition’s text panels. This approach connects historical content with visual storytelling rooted in craft, design, and popular culture.

The exhibition received press coverage in Södermanlands Nyheter and SVT Sörmland.
